There comes a time when you have done what needs to be done.  There is the to rest from all your doings.  Stop.  Be still and wait for the harvest.

There are things before the stop.  You must do what you must do.  But when you have done that which is necessary,  you must stop.

Knowing this is grasping the secret of wisdom and the mystery of manifestation.

The wise man is patient.   He waits in having that which shall manifest.  It is real now because he had done what needs to do.  It is also real when it comes, which is now.

Fifth –  Stress and Cancer

In article out of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center stress is listed as a risk factor for cancer.  That should not be surprising because chronic stress depresses the immune system.  The body goes out of balance.

In one of my books on Hypnosis for Non Hypnotist Healer

I go into the science of healing as related to stress.  I will just say here that to the extent that you diminish stress, any stress, you positively affect your health and healing.

I was interested to see in the video The Secret that a lady beat breast cancer by just put all the stress out of her life.  When we become stressed out about cancer, we are feeding the problem.  When we diminish our stress, to the extent that we do, we are moving into a more healthful balance.

The literature is clear.  Reducing stress, any stress, even stress that you may not think is related, supercharges your healing and health.  For example, in one study marital stress was reduced hand healing was exponentially improved.  [They were measuring the healing of punch biopsies of people in the two test groups.]

Lorenzo Cohen, Ph.D., professor of General Oncology and Behavioral Science, and director of the Integrative Medicine Program at MD Anderson, put this very simply, “… stress makes your body more hospitable to cancer.”  Why Dr. Cohen?  Because …  “Stress has a profound impact on how your body’s systems function.”

Thank you, Alana Gladden,

for the big surprise of you generous donation thru ALUministries’s blog and its donation button.  It was appreciated more than you know, and received in a time of need.

In Runic philosophy it reminded me of hamingja, which is translated luck, but really means more precisely – the gods are on your side.

It was a gebo event!  That was a great encouragement.
