For a long time garlic was the healthfood celeb.  It is still noted for many health benefits.  So I do not feel the need to cover all the bases.  What will follow are some highlights of uses of this amazing food.

In times past one of its names was Russian penicillin.  There was one case that I heard of that sailors of an ancient ship would not leave port without getting a provision of garlic.

It is a miracle herb.

  1. Immune System Boost

Garlic was used to help fight off gangrene during the many wars, even into the modern time of the world wars. Its effectiveness was not in direct action but in indirect processes.  It boosted the immune system.  It may be helpful to help you fight off other ailments.

This plant may help keep away colds, as well as flew at bay. With its antioxidants it can help your immune system run at tip-top efficiency. This is done not only by eating it, but you can also steep garlic into a tea by putting chopped garlic in hot water. For taste and benefits of honey, you can add a bit of natural honey to soothe your throat and thereby reduce some of the strong garlic taste.

  1. Antioxidants

Here is good reason to crush a few garlic cloves into your foo.  Garlic provides a world class supply of antioxidants, which as you already know play an important role in your overall health. There is some actual research evidence supporting garlic’s benefits.

Here is a benefits might you might try for bacterial issues in the skin. Garlic’s antioxidants can kill the bacteria that may be causing a case of acne. Next time you finds a pesky pimple, just rub the problem area with a sliced clove of raw garlic.  Sounds nuts but often it is just the ticket to success.

About The Author

Dr. Bill in San Antonio, TX, holds six degrees in religious studies including a Ph.D. and a Th.D. He holds several other certificates and certifications. He has been what some call a professional student.

Raised mostly in rural south and south-central Texas, he is equally at ease on the ranch, in the woods, in meditation, or metaphysical pursuits.

He was the author of two books now out of print and several that he has not pushed for publication. He has written numerous articles in pier review journals during his time in traditional ministry.

He was invited to be on the translation committee for a modern Bible translation but declined, for philosophic differences over translation presuppositions.

His studies in comparative religions led him into an in depth study of metaphysics.

He has a knack for noticing overlapping principles in different systems. It occurred to him that when things keep showing up in many religions that these maybe the secret truth past down from our ancient past that are applicable to us today.

As in folk lore Odin hung from the tree upside down and after nine days, came to know the secret runes. Today Dr. Bill strives to look at repeating truths in a different way. He is willing as needed to take the time to see the secrets that are ready to be opened from different directional considerations.

Dr. Bill was a traditional minister for 25 years, filling pulpits two times a week and teaching many classes.

Now he has centered his work on the metaphysical of spirituality.

Dr. Bill looks at the metaphysical and spiritual from a new eclectic perspective. This rare insight has been a boon to him and as he works to help you can be a boon to you
