What is it about Urea in Urine?
First what is urea? It is a colorless crystalline compound that is the main nitrogenous breakdown product of protein metabolism in mammals and is passed out of the body in urine. Urea forms in the liver, but is found in the many parts of the body including your blood and your lymphatic system.
After 1828, chemist learned how to produce a form of urea in the laboratory. However, that is a substance in the class of urea and not urea that is specifically by your body tailormade for your individual needs. There is a difference.
For example, there are different kinds of CoQ10. One is natural; the other is chemically concocted in the factory.
One is worthless to possibly harmful [made from tobacco]; the other works like a charm.
This is similar to the problems some have with vitamin E for the heart. There is a natural kind and a factory kind. For all the protestation to the contrary from the manufactures and their minions, they are not the same. The factory one does not work and causes prostate problems. The natural one works like a charm and does not cause prostate problems. That is why the drug manufactures tried to corner the market on natural vitamin E. They know it works so good and without negative side effects.
I have a friend who is a nurse practitioner. These are the nurses that are trained to stand in for the doctor. They can even write prescriptions. Figuratively speaking, you might call them doctor light.
She was telling me that she worked in hormone replacement and did the standard practice with one doctor when she got out of advanced school to be a nurse practitioner. She was prescribing what under her supervising doctor that practice did, the standard factory produced harmones. She developed good relations with many clients who followed her to her next practice that was doing the same general specialty work.
At the next practice that she was at she of course had a different supervising doctor, who practiced natural hormone replacement. She thought what is the difference, but that was where she was working so she started prescribing the natural hormones.
The patients that followed her from the former practice started complementing the new treatment. At first she did not get it. They were so much better on the natural hormones. She was dragged kicking and screaming into the conclusion that nature is not the same as factory fresh. The natural is better and has something to it that is better than man made.
This is the case with urea. Your best source of urea is your source of your urea, your urine. It is naturally produced and particularly designed for you. While a factory might chemically concoct a generic urea, it is not the same.
